SWIMMING POOL DO’S AND DON’TS
· Do not take glass out on to the patio area. Broken glass is invisible under water and can lead to pools needing to be drained, the cost of which will be charged to you/against your security deposit.
· Do not use any soap, shampoo or any other substances in the pool.
· Do not touch the pool pump/filter machinery – if you tamper with any valves/knobs or controls you will be charged for misuse or damages!
· Do not use the pool when you hear thunder or there is lightning in the area.
· Do not leave children unattended in the pool area.
· Do not leave coins or anything else on the bottom of the pool as these may damage or stain the finish of the pool bottom or deck.
· Do not leave items floating in the pool when it is not in use as these can cause a blockage to the water filtering inlet, causing damage to the pump.
· Dry off before entering the home as the chlorine in the water can damage the carpets and furniture and wet floors will cause a slip hazard.
· Use of the pool is at guest’s own risk and the Management and the owner of the home accept no liability for guest use.
· Each pool has a depth from 3 to 5 or 6 feet and depth markers are provided to show these.
· Pool rules are clearly displayed and should be adhered to.
POOLS WITH A SPA
1. If your pool has a spa, please bear in mind it is a spa and not a hot tub.
To activate the spa, simply turn the timer switch on the wall of the pool deck. After a few minutes the bubbles will start and the heater starts to heat the spa water only. Please understand that it can take in excess of 45 minutes to reach the maximum temperature and again this is dependent on the weather.
2. When the spa timer times out, the warmer water flows back into the pool. It will not stay warm. It is not a hot tub.
3. Please remember that when the spa is operating there is not heat going into the pool. The heater can only heat one or the other but not both at the same time.
4. The spa will only heat if pool heat has been booked. SPA is pre-set to temperature around 95 - 100 °F.
5. It may take up to 48hr to reach its working temperature for the large pool. The heat pump works during daylight hours and it’s not designed to run for 24hr! During winter cold days, pool heaters will generally heat the water temperature to 78-84°F. Please note, the pool heater works through HEAT EXCHANGE and might not function if outside temperature below 55F.
6. The temperature is pre-set by our pool technician. Please don't touch the pool heat equipment.
